Ms. Kenzie is fascinated with early childhood development and language acquisition. She holds bachelors degrees in Spanish and Elementary Education from Western Michigan University and a Masters degree in Education Policy from the University of Michigan. 

 

She has interned, volunteered, and worked in many different school and learning environments and all of these experiences have shaped her views on education. From volunteering in a first grade classroom in Granada, Nicaragua to teaching Spanish to elementary and middle school students at a Montessori school to teaching 5th and 6th grade in Arizona, Ms. Kenzie has interacted with many beautiful and unique children. She holds close to teaching ideas and strategies that promote kindness, togetherness, and joy.

 

Ms. Kenzie lives in Kalamazoo with her husband and two toddlers of her own.  She enjoys camping, swimming, kayaking, traveling, and reading books.
